Imrie, Garruk, Nura, and Lanthem, with the help of Rhymus and Grieva's Hurt Yurt, delve deep within the memories of Mikhael's soul, finding themselves in a period of time where soldiers use swords and crossbows, and Gods walk the earth, taller than mountains. Mikhael's God Maestro seems to be leading an alliance of Gods against another Pantheon, led by the God of Time: Chaos. Maestro sends Mikhael to Chaos' capital city, leading his armies against them. Chaos escapes, but causes a field of lava to erupt beneath the city, killing both armies. Maestro senses Chaos is gathering his pantheon, and goes there with Mikhael, who discovers them performing some kind of ritual. Mikhael tackles Chaos into the portal, and together, they land in some sort of sky temple, where Chaos is attempting to perform a ritual.
