Session 90: Asylum

Vaso conducts an experiment in the chambers with the strange symbols, and enlists Nira, Bari, Sillia, and Arael in helping him. Nira utilized Hunger of Hadar during their experiment, creating a rip that caused them to see many things, and allowed Venumbra to see them back. He took over their magic, and spoke to them, telling them to give him Sillia's purple crystal and Arael's Spear, but they refused. They tried to cast magic upon Venumbra, but he seemed to be able to cancel it out entirely. Only Vaso managed to pierce the barrier, and stuck a Mind Sliver spell directly in Venumbra's eye, which seemed to cause him harm. He swore them off as enemies, secretly stole the soul of Gabriel, and left behind a Balhannoth, which took the form of Vulkrem. They were barely able to kill it, before the entire building came down around them. They managed to escape, but now have no way of going back. They wandered the mysterious Underdark for quite some time, before meeting an old Dark Elf named Morgula, who, when Vaso gave her 15 gold coins, she took them to a sanctuary named Asylum, and began to introduce them around....
