The Fallen

Here lies the Fallen Player Characters of The Chords of Chaos.   Rest In Peace.

Zael of Daestrus

Clanless Tribal Human, Cleric of Daestrus, the God of Death. Died after trying to murder three Dwarven merchants for a better price on stone axes in exchange for cooking spices. Murdered Theo, and was then executed by his teammates, Kroz, Viktur, Sin, and Vulkrem.

Theo

Tribal Human of the Moon Shepherd Clan. Paladin of Lunara. Was murdered by his teammate Zael from a critical hit by an Inflict Wounds Spell.

Bukalasoo

Tribal Human of the Navali. Cleric of Illuven. Had a mushroom-addled dream and believed it was Illuven calling upon him. Murdered the Tribe of a Thousand Stones because there were white pigeons in his dream and he saw black crows flying above their camp. Murdered his tribe leader, Chieftain Zando, for failing to get the Moonstone from the Moon Shepherds. His group killed the Boneman, the Navali shaman as well. Killed dozens of members of his tribe because they had a problem with their rampant murder. Was disowned by the Navali, and told that to start to get his honor back he'd have to get what Zando failed to get: The Moonstone. During his first attempt to get it, the Moon Shepherds killed him. His corpse rots somewhere in the middle of the Tenor Woods.

Dhrakus of the Shadow Horde

Dhrakus was raised as the chosen one of Venumbra, to lead his army on the invasion of New Crescendo. Venumbra had made an alliance with the patron of Vulkrem, and the two groups merged. Through contact with this group, Dhrakus lost faith, and turned from Venumbra, and gained power from Vulkrem's Patron. Venumbra and Vulkrem's Patron maintained their shaky alliance, and invaded New Crescendo. The plan went off without a hitch, until they managed to get inside the Citadel. The forces of the Symphony Guard and the magic that protected the facility proved too much for them, and Dhrakus died in the raid. His last act was mustering the last of his power to grant Vulkrem a little more magic, which he used to successfully get through the portal that led to Orchestria.

Viktur Quinn

Born in New Crescendo, his mother took him away from the city to get away from his father, Quinn, who was a leg breaker and thug in those days. Off in the wilds, they found the Tribe of a Thousand Stones, a peaceful tribe that willingly took them in, and Viktur's adolescence were happy and peaceful. Was a devout worshiper of Rog. One day the Navali came to his camp and wiped them out. He tried to help, but slipped on a broken rock and fell into a river. He washed ashore days later, the rock he'd slipped on pressed atop his chest. Kroz, and some other Moon Shepherds found him, and when they removed the heavy stone from him he woke up, and found that he could lift the 50 pound stone like it were only a few pounds. He took this as a sign from Rog, and used it as a shield, to protect him and his loved ones. The Navali, led by Zando, attacked the Moon Shepherd tribe while he was there, and he helped repel their attack. He went after them, to try and rescue his son, and succeeded, killing several of the men responsible for his kidnapping. After the brutal battle, Viktur was never the same. With two tribes destroyed, he and Kroz took the remnants back to New Crescendo. While staying with Meryl, the Symphony Guard attacked, and Viktur, betrayed for the last time, declared war on the Elves of Orchestria.   Viktur went to his father, Quinn, who now seemed to be a legitimate businessman, and tried to convince him to come over to the war effort. Quinn refused, and when Viktur pulled a knife on him, Quinn smashed a chair over his son's head, and kicked them out of his establishment. To try and get him on their side, he led an attack on one of his father's warehouses, while dressed as Symphony Guards. Unfortunately for them, this half-baked plan did not fool Quinn, who, out of revenge for killing his people and burning his food warehouse, conspired to get them away from the city, where they could not run or hide. He manipulated them into going out to sea, where they had a battle aboard the Elven Lifeship A Cappella. Viktur, and his companions, died during the ambush.   Insane with rage, Viktur's soul refused to leave this world, and with the help of Vulkrem's Patron, he was restored to his body, which was reanimated. He was not exactly alive, but his rage against everyone involved with killing him knew no bounds, and he set off with the Death & Shadows group to invade New Crescendo and get his revenge. Several people on his kill list died before he got there, but he was able to murder his half-brother, Quintus. While raiding the Citadel, Viktur was killed, and while he had died multiple times now, the magics that protected the Citadel blocked him from the source of his Patron's power, and his soul could not be recovered....
