Feats
The Chords of Chaos uses three books for feats: The Player's Handbook, Xanathar's Guide to Everything, and Tasha's Cauldron of Everything. Some of the feats are off-limits, however. Below is a list of which feats we do and do not use. Note: I don't mention the ones that have prerequisites for Artificer or Races not currently in the game.

Banned Feats
The below feats are not allowed during the Stone Age of the campaign. I made a note to briefly explain why.- Crossbow Expert (PHB): No crossbows.
- Dwarven Fortitude (XGE): We tend to only get in one combat per session, and I don't think we've ever taken a short rest. This basically gives Dwarves nearly unlimited healing for free, which feels unbalanced for our campaign.
- Elven Accuracy (XGE): Because we get Inspiration so often, an Elf with this would probably never miss anymore, which feels unbalanced for our campaign.
- Fey Teleportation (XGE): No Sylvan, and Fey Touched is basically the same feat, but better.
- Gunner (TCE): No guns.
- Lucky (PHB): This feat on top of all the Inspiration we get means you'd never fail a check again.
- Mounted Combatant (PHB): No mounts.
Reworked Feats
The below feats can be taken, but have been modified in one way or another.- Chef (TCE): Works as normal, except the "Treats" you cook must be eaten prior to combat starting. This isn't Skyrim, you can't pause the game to chomp on some bread mid-combat.
- Ritual Caster (PHB): Requires the ability to Read/Write in Dwarven. Must be done on a Stone Tablet. The Stone Tablet must be 1 pound per level of the spell, and requires a crystal worth 50 gp per level of the spell as well.
- Telekinetic (TCE): Must be a Spellcaster to take this feat, and it is assumed you are doing this with magic, not some innate ability.
- Telepathic (TCE): Must be a Spellcaster to take this feat, and it is assumed you are doing this with magic, not some innate ability.
