The Chords

Five rings spin in the light of two stars holding the last descendants of Earth. Here, on the Chords, a young Mottling struggles to make a living under the Chorus; a caste system that labels all Mottlings as liars and assassins. Strange hallucinations begin to lead him on a journey of discovery, betrayal, and alter egos. Along the way he meets other Mottlings, shapeshifters with genetics from artists, to assassins, Vingisaku, the brute working force of the Chords, and Transipans, mysterious masters of minds among the other genetically designed denizens of the Chords.
