Redwick
Redwick, often referred to as "The Red City," is the oldest and largest settlement in the province of Thalwyn. It is currently ruled by King Arwyn of Redwick and Queen Lizabette of Redwick, both of House Thalorum. As the capital of Thalwyn, Redwick stands as a beacon of culture, governance, and economic power in the southeastern Celestine Peninsula.
Demographics
Redwick and its surrounding towns are the heartland of the Redmanes, an ethnic group indigenous to the southeastern Celestine Peninsula. The Redmanes evolved over centuries, enduring the relentless sun that beats down on the region. The name "Redmane" was derived from the distinct sunburns that early farmers acquired on the backs of their necks while working long hours in the fields. These sunburns resembled a fiery red mane, a symbol of their resilience and connection to the land. Over time, the Redmanes have developed a rich cultural identity rooted in their agricultural heritage and close-knit communities.
Government
As the provincial capital, Redwick exercises authority over not only its city lands but also the entire province of Thalwyn. Since its founding, Redwick has operated under a Constitutional Monarchy, a system that balances the powers of the ruling monarch with the legislative body, the Parliament of Redwick. Policies, constitutional amendments, and governmental programs are first proposed and debated within the Parliament before being submitted to the reigning monarch for approval. The King, along with his advisors, plays a pivotal role in shaping the governance of both the city and the province.

History
Redwick was founded in 223 BCE by Zephirus au Thalorum and Pythia au Thalorum, who initially established it as a small farming community. The settlers quickly capitalized on the fertile wetlands of the southern peninsula, implementing advanced irrigation techniques to enhance agricultural productivity. As Redwick's agricultural output grew, the town expanded, and by 119 CE, House Thalorum had transformed it into one of the world's leading producers of textiles and lumber. The city's growth continued over the centuries, and in 345 CE, House Thalorum opened Redwick's ports to trade with the neighboring province of @Ravenmoor, further cementing its status as a major economic power.
