Last Harvest Tradition / Ritual in The Call of The Tree | World Anvil

Last Harvest

Last Harvest is a great festival taking place during the last ten days of Leaf-Fall.
Those ten days are the last moment when the crops will still grow, so for a lot of people, this time means work.
At the same time, a great number of stalls shows up at that time.
Some with games, some with food (there are many stands with preserves helping to survive the Dream) and crafts, toys and trinkets.
People decorate the streets with colorful ribbons and lanterns.
During those days farmers aid each other.
When one of them finishes work on his field, he usually goes to help his neighbor.
This behavior repeats until the last farmer is done with his job.
Generally, the farmers who helped their neighbors are invited to taverns by them as a way of thanks.
Taverns often need to bring their beer and food outside, because they are so full of clients.
