Welcome to the Cage read me first!

The Cage: Sigil and the Planes is a Dungeons and Dragons 3.5 edition game. The following sources will be used for character creation:

• The Player's Handbook 3.5
• The Planar Handbook
• Supplemental sources presented in the links given under Player Options.

You can create a Planar or Prime character, but some races must be one or the other.
Planar Races

• Races from the Planar Handbook
• Half Elves and Humans from the Player's Handbook (these races can be either Planer or Primes.)
• Children of the Cosmos

Prime Races

• Races from the Player's Handbook
• Primes can come from any DM approved campaign setting for 3.5 D&D and must follow the rules for that setting for character creation.

Sources for backgrounds and flavor include:

• The Planescape setting for AD&D 2nd Edition (Feel free to use the books from the campaign setting boxed set when looking for information to flesh out your character.)
