Serana of Braedon

Serana is a sorceress hailing from the town of Braedon, who now lives in the city of Black Hallows.
Serana went to Gallica's Mage's College on the dime of a noble of black hallows and became aknowledged as a sorceress.
After being employed by the noble for several years, she finally managed to pay off her debt and since then runs a small shop in black hallows specializing in Spirits.
That was 200 years ago. The shop has since passed down to her apprentice, and then to her apprentice and so on. The current owner of the store is one Selina Bradley.

The Truth
Selina Bradley is long dead. In trugh, Serana has developed her own method of immortality by taking over the bodies of her apprentices.
Every few decades Serana chooses a young woman with the correct physical traits and takes her in as an apprentice. She then slowly isolates her victim from friends and family so that any differences in behavior are less noticable. After a few years of careful preparation serana kills her apprentice and takes over their body, leaving her old body behind. She then simply claims the old alchemist has died, leaving the shop to her apprentice, as is tradition.
Through this method she has remained alive, if not fully herself. Her mind has taken some damage as a result of being transferred from body to body several times, and the process will likely stop working eventually. Serana is searching for a solution.

Personality and Mannerisms

Serana is somewhat cold to new people, though she is quite excitable about her chosen field of study, mental magics and anything involving the mind, brain and soul. When spoken to about this topic she becomes significantly more friendly towards the person asking.

If Serana is not treated in a friendly manner or dismissed or treated with hostility, she becomes extremely caustic and snarky. She is not above some petty revenge if she can get away with it and people she doesn't like can rot for all she cares.
