World Type

Number World Type Description
1-10 Spherical / Planetoid A world shaped like a sphere, the surface can be explored. If you dig down, you come out the other side eventually. World has a core.
11-20 Flat World A Flat or Disc-shaped world. What happens if you drop off the edge? Is there and edge or does it loop back in on itself?
21-30 Inverse Spherical (Holow world) A world shaped like an inverted sphere, if you dig down you appear on the other side, if you look up you see the other side. Alternatively; a subertannian or cave-world.
31-40 Shifting World A world that changes regularly. Perhaps it is a flat worldwhere space isnt consistent and locations shift constantly. Perhaps the continents are moving. Perhaps navigation does not work with a map but perhaps with intent or magical aid.
41-50 Shattered World or
Multiple small worlds
There is no singular world. Instead there are multiple platforms or asteroids floating in space.
51-60 Living World There is no world, instead there is a giant living creature. Examples include a gargantuan tree, a sleeping giant or a space-whale. Settlements may exist on its surface or in its 'bowels'.
61-80 Geometric World The world is shaped like a geometric body; a pillar, a cube, a pyramid. Apart from its strange geometric gravity, this is otherwise like a spherical world.
81-90 Floating Islands In addition to a central world there is floating islands occasionally on this world.
91-100 Two in one Two worlds or one world sharing two themes. Roll twice on this table, ignoring duplicates and rerolls

26-30 Frozen A world that is themed after ice, frost and blizzards.

41-45 Desert A world that is themed after deserts, sand, dust or debris.
46-55 Fire A world themed after fire, flame and lava.
56-60 Acid & poison A world themed after Acid, poisons or other chemical or chemical-like things.
61-65 Light A World themed after light and brightness.
66-70 Darkness A World themed after night and darkness.
71-75 Life Life is exceptionally vibrant here: giant fauna and flora, extremely deadly monsters.
76-80 Death This world is filled with necrotic energies: undead are extremely common.
81-90 Void There isn't much on this world, survival is difficult or impossible. Alternatively there may be a black hole here.
91-100 Two in one A world with two conflicting or coexisting themes. Roll twice on this table, ignoring duplicates and rerolls

Civilization Status

1-20 Desolate

Devastated
Everything is dead and destroyed, only ruins remain. World has gone through a major catastrophe. Nearly the entire world is severely harmed in some way or form or has never been settled in the first place. Treasure may be found here.
21-40 Rebuilding

Settling
This world is being built up from nothing.
41-80 Stable The World is Stable.
81-100 Recession The world is doing poorly. People are struggling. Civilisation is slowly getting worse. Perhaps the world needs to be abandoned.


Civilization Security

Roll here only if appropriate.

1-10 None There is no security here, the world must fend for itself.
11-50 Garrison There is a small garrison stationed here.
51-90 Outpost There is a minor outpost here, the world is reinforced.
91-100 Fortress The world is heavily reinforced, it is a major stronghold of importance.


Special Quirks

Number Quirks Description
1-45 Nothing World has no unexpected quirks.
46-50 Firstborn The world contains some ancient traces of the Firstborn.
51-55 Recolor The sky or soil have an unexpected and strange color.
56-60 Artifacts The world contains still-active ancient arcane artifacts. These artifacts may be maintaining the world or may be performing another function. either way, they stand out.
61-65 Strange beasts Unique, abnormal beasts occupy this world. They may either be dangerous or useful to the people living here. Either way, they can only live on this speciffic world.
66-70 Low Gravity This world has low gravity. jumping is easier, creatures here are larger but struggle to survive outside.
71-75 High Gravity Gravity is higher here. Many creatures struggle to survive. Jumping is harder.
76-80 Crashed Worldship An ancient crashed worldship lies dead upon this world. Perhaps it has been repurposed as habitation, perhaps it is a treasure trove, perhaps it is long empty and raided, a shell is all that remains.
81-85 Abundant Dragons Dragons are on every world. However they are especially abundant here and can be encountered often.
86-90 Curse of Undeath Whether by a past catastrophy or by some cosmic event, this world is overrun with Undead. If they were cleared out, the world may be free of them once more.
91-95 Touch of the outside The outside has some kind of leak into the Brass realms here. Perhaps an active incursion, a slow corruption or lingering taint from a failed invasion.
96-100 Breach in the veil Be it because of an active portal or a quirk of this world, the veil between the spirit world and the mortal world is breached here. Demons or other spirits may freely roam this world and wreak havok.
