Dragonblooms are rare and hardy flowers that grow in remote regions. They are highly valuable as a core ingredient in many powerful and expensive potions.

Description

Dragonblooms are a highly desired as alchemical catalysts; an extract of dragonblooms strengthens the traits of many other alchemical ingredients and effectively increase and concentrate the effects of potions.

Additionally, dragonblooms can be chewed if freshly plucked and acts as an antidote to many poisons.

Dragonblooms have resisted all efforts to cultivate them in a controlled or safe environment, either refusing to grow or losing their potency. As a result they have to be gathered from remote region and certain known spots, often with armed escort as these regions are often inhabited by monsters.

Appearance

Dragonblooms are short plants with flat leaves and short stems, with cone-shaped blue flowers sitting atop.
