Celestial Dragons
All Mortal children can break the Taboo. What happens if that mortal creature is a Dragon?
Description
Celestial dragons are to Dragons what gods are to humans: ascended beyond mortality. In other words, celestial dragons are dragon gods.
Dragon gods are exceedinly rare even among gods, just as dragons are rare when compared to the multitude of intelligent mortal species.
However they come about in roughly the same way: a dragon surpasses his mortal limits by bonding itself to some cosmic force and transcends its mortal limits, makes no mistakes in doing so and joins the ranks of the dvines.
Because of how strong the dragon starts out, they usually are stronger than most normal deities.
Dragon gods do not interact with the mortal realm.
They do not at all care about mortal creatures or mortal worshipers. They barely care at all about the dragons they stem from. The famous draconic isolationist tendencies lend themselves to dragon gods simply disappearing somewhere into the spirit world and remaining there for all eternity, doing as they please.
Celestial dragons are not necessarily good, they can be malicious or uncaring just as any other deity can be.
Appearance:
An absolute minority of mortals ever get to see a celestial dragon. At most they are told about them by gods, or see them in some spirit-vision.Remove these ads. Join the Worldbuilders Guild
