Law of Subsummation
Lawful Kindreds can possess quantities of tertiary Kinds which do not disrupt the Union of Kinds, if they are sufficiently meager in amount. These Subsumed Kinds alter the properties of those materials which contain them, as determined by bulk composition and arrangement.
Manifestation
Trace quantities of tertiary Kinds—that is, those Kinds present in sufficiently small quantities that the they do not destabilize the dominant balance of Kinds in a Lawful Kindred—impose their own properties upon a material which they partially compose to a very slight degree. This imposition is strengthened by greater concentration, but remains relatively minor so long as the Kind does not cross over into dominance. This line is heavily dependent upon arrangement and concentration, and so can vary by substance, but generally depends on whether an individual instance of a Kind—the various properties of which depend upon the Kind—interacts more with itself than with other Kinds.
