Summer Camp 2024 Reading List
I must say, this years Summer Camp was insanely productive for me even though I started quite late, about a week and a half into the month.
I feel that was mostly because of a few factors, namely that this is a relatively new world (started early this year), and that I had taken a break from world building to build up my ideas for this world, so there was a lot to write about and in my head. Of course, the various prompts certainly helped me think of different things, and I definitely did, as I completed all 42 prompts, as well as wrote another 30 or so other articles about various things based off the prompts and articles related to them (Not even counting the 20 or so Plot articles I wrote for the planned campaign in this world). I was also at least somewhat motivated by my ever-present ADHD Hyperfixation tendencies, which saw me obsess over the world for the majority of the month, and also using it as a stress/anxiety relief as I waited to start my new job in August.
Over all, I had a great time writing all the articles, and feel like I've really fleshed out the world of The Blooming Continent, particularly the Bloom Research and Scouting Corps organization, which I wrote a dozen sub-articles for, and Bloom Beasts, again writing a good half dozen sub-articles for.
