King of the Cliffs Leigh II Danson
Son of Emperor Leigh Danson of the Requian Empire, Leigh II grew up being taught every aspect of the six kingdoms for when he inherited his father's position. At age 16 he was taken to Camelot to avoid the Kraken's rampage during its second attack, the empire being long dead by the time he returned, along with both his mother and his father. Sea's Appeal had gained control over the six kingdoms and gave Leigh the Kraken Cliffs in pity.
Personality & Appearance
The death of his family and empire had deeply hurt Leigh, turning him into a very quiet and timid individual when not in public. He did his best to present himself as a bright and joyous king to his subjects, but most were able to see through the guise.Political Career
Leigh never got the power he was promised while growing up as not only did he have a fraction of the territory but was forced to conform to the demands of the Golden Society. His role in the kingdom was to plan events and command the Requian Navy (which during a time of peace meant completely nothing). Due to his lack of dramatic political decisions he was in good standing with his subjects and was mourned when he was assassinated.Family
A decade into his rule he met Lilith Lora during a public masquerade parade in the People's District. They fell in love that night and married soon after, having a single son Hew Danson. Both of them went into hiding after the assassination for their own protection.
