Fading Fox

One of the subtler results of the Great Cataclysm, the fading fox is an especially elusive specimen. Its pelt shifts between red, silver, and brown as the fox moves, and it confounds the senses, able to hide without cover. Its steps leave no footprints, and it is unnaturally adept at escaping traps.

Due to its rarity and unique properties, a fading fox's pelt is highly valued. Managing to actually catch one of these creatures is extremely difficult, however.
