Cuin Eramus II, Esquire

Cuin’ s father. After fleeing from the Brightwood under cover of dark, Cuin started the long arduous journey of rebuilding his business. Profiteering off the embargoes imposed by the war, he quickly built a fortune arming the south with contraband weapons, while also selling out the locations of their holdfasts to agents in the north. When the North no longer had need of him for espionage, he was sent to trial, where his sentence to exile in Baazdos. Really just a convenient way to have him out of the way.
He regrets leaving his family behind, but holds the belief that they would have been better off without him. He had lied about being waylaid by goblins. In reality, a deal he had brokered had gone south, and he had run into the woods to escape certain death. He holds to the belief that he’s not a good person, someone who has profited off of other people’s misfortune and suffering. Nym and his mother were too pure to be corrupted by his influence. Or so he thinks.
