Esseythari of Tyrphos

In the dramatic final hours of Tyrphos the Betrayer’s life, he slew himself and his esseythu was transported to Kovûl. Upon that Eshor he battled against Haradus of Everos, who slew himself to pursue, and was assisted by Corgastor, named before. Tyrphos was killed in battle. Corgastor and Acolitus thus spoke among themselves. The dead Judge’s esseythu was made potent through the murder of his companions. Corgastor desired that power for himself, for he and his worshipper had claimed victory. Acolitus claimed the esseythu was his to absorb, for Tyrphos was his agent. Back and forth they debated over such matter for some time, for uncurrent malice was between them. No division of powers was reached. Instead, Tyrphos esseythu was torn asunder, back into parts equal to his ancient followers, and hurled back into Esha attached to the Judge’s armor. This would ideally trap that Eshanic power until it eventually wavered and dissipated into nothingness. Haradus was assigned to scatter these items, to which he agreed.   Unknown to either Corgastor or Acolitus, whose own understanding of the Eshanic sciences were limited, their decision was fateful. The potency of the esseythu was such that these fragments passed the minimum threshold, beyond common measure, which separates olundi and Eshan. They were imbued upon the dead corpse items of Tyrphos, just as Haradus returned to life through the power of Corgastor and grace of Acolitus. He found these items, Esheryne in origin, to be glowing bright. These were removed from the corpse, stored among the victorious Corgastodmar, and transported across the continent during the following campaign to destroy the remnants of Tyrphos. In each place of note the Corgastodmar halted, Haradus departed from the host to hide away these items. When the campaign came to close, all were gone, and Haradus reported to Corgastor that the business was done. In pleased recognition, Corgastor granted Haradus the Eshanic guidance necessary to secure the throne in Ghethemas no more than five years thereafter.   The business was not done. These dormant esseythu became swiftly active, though confused as mere newborns. Strange dreams ran through their minds as the memories of their disembodied pasts returned to them. Their identity was much alike Nith’eshan, beyond the Eshanic Mandate. Every day which passed their energy grew. After some years their power was sufficient to communicate with olundi, and thus the affairs of the myriad cults began. The chaos of their machinations came to no end until 3468. It was then that the last of their number, Sinestra, was destroyed.
