When the position of Guardsmaster opened, Leerstrom was an obvious choice, trusted to uphold the city’s laws and protect its citizens. Role in the Campaign
Agent of Holland Bray
Under orders from Holland Bray, Leerstrom orchestrated a series of deceptions to destabilize Ring City and further Holland’s goals. His most heinous act was framing the Ring City Four for the murder of Randall Liadon, forcing the adventurers to operate covertly while trying to clear their names.
Imprisonment of Julianna Castille
When Julianna Castille, a paladin of Tyr and one of Ring City’s most beloved figures, attempted to exonerate the Ring City Four, Leerstrom used his authority to arrest her. He delivered Julianna into Holland Bray’s clutches, an act of betrayal that sealed his allegiance to the cult.
Attack on Ring City
During the attack on Ring City, Leerstrom openly sided with Holland’s forces, further cementing his role as a traitor. His confrontation with the Ring City Four marked his ultimate undoing. In a fierce battle, the adventurers exposed his treachery and killed him, ending his reign as Guardsmaster.
