History of the Dwarves

The dwarves trace their origins back to the first Era of the August Realms, when the Kingdom of Terethenzia brought dwarves into the Realm to become the master craftsmen of the Realm. Moradin, the god of creation and craftsmanship, is particularly revered among them.

Dwarves were instrumental in the establishment of Ithrin, where their mining expertise and artistry helped shape the grand cities of Hammerhome and Gavelheim Outlook. Over centuries, they created wonders such as the Tower of Stars and forged alliances with other races, becoming a key force in the economic and cultural development of the August Realms.

During the Age of Expansion, dwarves played a critical role in advancing metallurgy and enchanting techniques, culminating in the discovery of Etherium by the Ironvein dwarves. However, the Age of Strife brought division. The Ironvein dwarves' rise as a separate city-state led to tensions with Ithrin and ultimately their mysterious disappearance. This history of ingenuity, conflict, and resilience defines the dwarven identity.
