Power Generation
Attachable solar panels charge a battery that power onboard systems. The solar panels are not dropped with the colonist.
Propulsion
Two small boosters counter the falling force of the pod as it near the destination planet.
Communication Tools & Systems
There are no voice communication systems on the pod, however a GPS tracker is installed so the colony ship can identify landing positions.
Additional & auxiliary systems
The inside of the pod and the colonist are frozen in water before the colonist is dropped.
