Spectral Frays

Spectral Frays are entities that can be found within the Aether, specifically the 'Twilight Veil'. The Twilight Veil differs from the world's actual Arcane system, the Aether. Only those born with the ability to see into the Twilight Veil can see them; and these individuals are rare.


Types and causes of Spectral Frays vary. They include:

Abyssal Threads - Manifestations of negative energy flowing through the Twilight Veil.
Wraithforms - Entities formed by the pain, regret, and despair haunting the world, seeping its way into the Twilight Veil.
Hollowborn - Remnants of living or mystical essence within the Twilight Veil that have become hostile.

Manifestation

Spectral Frays can appear in many forms, but it varies from type to type. Any phsyical horror a living being can imagine can potentially be a form of a Spectral Frays.

Metaphysical, Arcane
