The Fire of Hope
Few historians know of the existence of the Imperial Command ship the Mercy's Blade. A cutting-edge flagship of the northern fleet, it took the best and brightest engineers and construction teams a decade to build. A worthy crew was chosen from the Imperial Academy, and it was expected they would have a long and illustrious career protecting the northern trade lanes.
Of course, this was in the last days of the Sanctum-Imperial war and none were expecting an elite team of Vanguard operatives to infiltrate the sky-dock and steal the ship the moment it was flight-worthy.
One daring escape later, the ship was returned to Sanctum and renamed the Fire of Hope. By far the greatest ship the Sanctum Alliance had ever commanded, it was immediately designated the flagship of the entire navy. It would go on to duel the Emperor's personal vessel in the final battle of the war, emerging battered but victorious. Now it patrols the skies above Sanctum, a stalwart reminder of the sacrifices of the past war and the constant threat the empire poses.

Hull
Forged from durable, Yrddestone-infused Imperial alloys, the Fire of Hope’s hull remains remarkably intact despite its many battles. The Hope gleams a vibrant gold, repainted with meticulous care. Intricate engravings of Elysia, scenes of her sacrifice, and scriptures of hope replace the stern visages of Imperial emperors that once adorned its sides.Sails
Two sets of massive white sails rise from the main deck, emblazoned with the winged emblem of the Sanctum Alliance. Priests imbue these sails with blessings during intricate rituals, allowing them to harness the wind with supernatural efficiency, granting this behemoth surprising speed and agility.Decks
The Fire of Hope boasts five spacious decks. The uppermost deck, open to the elements, houses the bridge, command center, and several magitech guns for long-range attacks. Lower decks hold barracks for the Elysian Guard and regular crew, mess halls, training rooms, workshops, and even a small chapel dedicated to Elysia. The lowest decks, deep within the ship, are dedicated to the hangar bays that house squadrons of nimble scout and fighter airships, ready to be deployed at a moment's notice.Features
Aetherial Engines
The Fire of Hope's immense size requires twin aetherial engines. Sanctum's mages have woven enchantments into these powerful engines, supplementing their Yrddestone core with Elysia's blessings. The resulting golden exhaust trails are said to ward off misfortune and empower those within the ship’s radius.Armory
The Fire of Hope’s armory houses an array of both standard Imperial weapons and Sanctum innovations. Racks of magitech rifles stand alongside enchanted ballistae, blessed blades hum with subtle power, and alchemists brew potent concoctions for healing and defense.Communication Spire
A tall, elegant spire rises from the top deck, its tip capped with a glowing Yrddestone crystal. This structure amplifies communication signals, allowing the Fire of Hope to coordinate with the rest of the Sanctum fleet and even send messages across vast distances.Lower Docking Bays
Two massive hangar bays occupy the lowest decks, housing rows of nimble scout and combat airships. Massive doors, sealed with reinforced metal and aetherial locks, open to deploy these squadrons swiftly, allowing for rapid strikes or strategic maneuvers.
