The day of the Cataclysm. It broke the world and unleashed dark forces that corrupted and transformed that which it did not kill outright.
Five centuries later and its a broken, dying world. A new order has arisen from the ruins, one dominated by the city-state of Bel'Zanar whose tyrannical rulers seek to bring all Annwn under their dominion. As the rapacious military-industrial might of Bel'Zanar spreads, consuming and conquering all in its path other far more insidious threats work toward finishing that which the Cataclysm began all those centuries ago.

The Ascension Chronicles is a dark fantasy set in Annwn, the Otherworld of Welsh mythology. The story follows a group of outcasts and renegades and their attempts to not only bring about an end to a war between two mighty empires but also preventing another apocalypse, one that will end the world. It is a post-apocalyptic setting with dark fantasy, steampunk, biopunk and cosmic horror elements.
