Group Captain Vaes Dattrak
Group Captain Vaes Dattrak is the head of the Alliance fleet fighter command in the Arkanis sector. As the callsign Aegis One, he personally leads sorties from the Daybreak on attacks against both the Empire and the pirates that threaten the hyperspace lanes around Alliance-held systems, and is responsible for more destroyed TIE fighters than the next four aces under his command combined. With the recent scarcity of fuel in the sector, he has been vocal about his concerns of the fleet's ability to project its defense over the allied systems as well as the ability to defend the fleet itself.
