Alliance Mission Offers

Mission offers in order of priority from Alliance Command   ++++++++++++++++++++++++++   Priority 1 Mission: The Alliance Needs Food, Badly (Completes on 20/4/0 ABY)   Currently the Alliance fleet has foodstuffs to last less than a month. The last several supply convoys intended to replenish the fleet's stores have been waylaid and their goods impounded by the Empire. The next convoy must reach its destination, or the nacent rebellion may falter just as it is gaining ground in the Arkanis Sector.   ++++++++++++++++++++++++++   Priority 2 Mission: Running on Empty   Following the situation at Kemal Station, fuel reserves across the sector have been strained to the breaking point - Fuel prices are skyrocketing and the quality of available fuel is plummeting. The Alliance fleet's stores are dipping perilously low, and no further expansion or significant fleet actions may be undertaken until the fuel supplies are replenished.   ++++++++++++++++++++++++++   Priority 3 Mission: Guns, guns, guns!   While the Alliance's weapon stores are currently well stocked, one of the most effective ways to prevent the Empire from doing battle is to destroy their ability to make war. Alliance intelligence has uncovered a gap in the security on Sirpar and a cunning crew could destroy a major Imperial weapons storage facility used to outfit new regiments.   ++++++++++++++++++++++++++   Priority 3 Mission (adjunct): The Rescue   Alliance Intelligence Operative Tarsi Donnall, head of Arkanis sector Intelligence has been captured and is being held aboard the Needle, a Lictor Class Dungeon Ship in preparation for her extradition to the core worlds. While she has been trained to resist interrogation, it's only a matter of time before her resolve is broken and the secrets of the Alliance operations in the Arkanis sector are revealed. A daring rescue is required!   ++++++++++++++++++++++++++   Optional Mission (Completes on 10/4/0 ABY) Opulence and Opportunity   The rather hardline Rebel Alliance General Wurr Jarnann has recieved intel on the Trade Federation droid control ship Opulence that was lost at the end of the Clone Wars, but was never found. The information suggests the Opulence may be found in the Austan system. Despite warnings from his superiors he has taken those troops loyal to him to seek out the lost battleship and the army stored within it. His intention? To reactivate it and lead it on against the Empire.   ++++++++++++++++++++++++++   The Selkath Situation   A professor at the Interstellar University of Trualis has seen the tapes of the destruction of Alderaan. He has analyzed them and reverse engineered the Death Star weapon. He has subsequently begun research into how to make the weapon more efficient, and capable of being mounted on a capital ship. He published a paper with his preliminary findings. Now, the hunt is on to get a hold of the professor as fast as possible. Everyone is racing to get him. Alliance, Imperial and Crime Syndicates all want the professor, for different reasons. The Alliance doesn't want anybody else constructing a planet-killer, the crime bosses want to make their own.   ++++++++++++++++++++++++++   The Continuing Vendetta   A few years ago, a prototype Imperial ECM (Electronic Counter Measures) Frigate named "The Continuing Vendetta" was lost during its initial test run. While this frigrate design is a good one, it seemed to have malfunctioned and exploded during space trials. In the the last few months there have been disparate reports of the appearance of a ship matching the same identifier code as "TCV" in the Arkanis system. Of course, being a prototype ECM vessel, tracking the "TCV" won't be easy. The captured Imperial reconnaisance vessel Spyglass may be the only way to track down the elusive vessel and discover the truth behind its disappearance...   ++++++++++++++++++++++++++   A-Wing and a Prayer   In the Piroket system, a secret Imperial skunkworks project is developing the new A-Wing interceptor. The plans would prove extremely useful to the Alliance, and there is the potential to abscond with the initial interceptor prototype...   ++++++++++++++++++++++++++
