The Anchored Realm

Gods created the world.   First, they brought the elementals.   Next they brought the monsters - monsters of fire.   Then they brought the races - the dwarves, the gnomes, the elves, the halflings, the orcs, the dragons.   The final introduction were humans. They needed them. They provided the drama that they could watch.   Without humans, where would be the chaos. That was what the gods wanted. A world to wander with chaos. Even with the first monsters of fire created, it still wasn't enough.   To make things interesting, humans were gifted magic. Not all, for where would be the fun in that.
