Ymir, Primordial God of Giants
Ymir, or Brimir, is the Once-Living God and father of all Giant kind. He is not part of any official pantheon and is worshipped by Giants as their true creator.
At the dawn of creation, before any sentient life had been created, the Aethereal Lord Lucifer betrayed his kin. He sought out more power for the betterment of himself. The God-King Adarr sent Cizta, the Goddess of War, after him. Both became wounded during this battle and drops of their Divine essence fell upon the world, creating Ymir, the first sentient being in creation.
Being created by the essence of two Aethereal Lords, or Gods, during the Creation Era, Ymir had the power of creation, however limited compared to all deities who came before him. He became the first Living-God. Over the following year, many Aethereal spirits were sent to fight Ymir, seeing him as an accident who needed destroyed. Ymir wanted to be left alone in peace. This outraged him. Ymir decided he would take action. In pure rage, he began to create his own people. Sentient Giants to be his army's leadership and Cyclopes to be near-sentient beasts of war.
After a decade, Ymir was finally brought down when the Aethereal Lords became fed up with him and combined their power to deal a strong and fatal, final blow. Seeing the Giants as mere puppets of Ymir's creation, they were set free as the first Elder race of the Ancestor Isles. As for the Cyclopes, they were safely moved to another unknown land outside of the Ancestor Isles.
