Aethereal Lords

The Aethereals (also sometimes called Divines or New Gods) are the most wise and strong of the Aethereals. Believed to be protectors of creation and the most loving of all deities, the Aethereals are worshipped as benevolent gods. Unlike Archfiends, they are believed to have a natural gender. Each Aethereal rules over a district in the Aether Realm.
Aethereals were created by Ruxla, the cosmic entity residing over the universe. Ruxla was deceived by Dedes, the cosmic entity of the Eternal Void, believing that he would aid her in creating the universe but instead saved his power and set loose his own creation, the Archfiends and their realm of the Netherworld, to cause chaos on the infant universe. To counter this traitorous threat, Ruxla created the Aethereal and the Aethereal Realm.


Aethereal & Domains:

• Adarr: King of the pantheon, most powerful of the Aethereal Lords. Father of Divine Power. First born son of Ruxla.
• Cizta: Goddess of War, Strategy and Protection. Shield-Protector of Adarr.
• Zephyr: God of air. Prime deity of the Avariel (Winged Folk). Zephyr is depicted as a Griffin in mid-flight. Brother of Adarr.
• Saxtar: Goddess of speech, vows, oaths, poetry and music. Saxtar is usually depicted as a bard. Daughter of Netara.
• Netara: Goddess of love, compassion, marriage, beauty, fertility and family. Patron of weddings. Wife of Adarr.
• Visdarr: God of the circle of life and death, funerals, burials and retrieving souls. Son of Adarr.
• Cynos: God of truth, keeper of knowledge and father of mortal magicks. Son of Adarr.
• Venia: Goddess of the sea, commerce, merchants, sailing and cargo. Protector of legal trade. Wife of Zephyr.
