One the members of Vincenzo's pirate gang, The Black Clover, the woman was a walking armoury - an arsenal of knives and one particularly brutal machine gun. Once upon a time, Abuela fulfilled a sort of motherly role for Varis. Other notable facts about Abuela include a formidable level of expertise in kickboxing, she was thoroughly scarred, and, to Varis' knowledge, had a dark past involving a role as an enforcer, potentially as a watchward.
