Mr Vincenzo Rudolfo Fiorensi

Effortlessly charming and endlessly slimy, Vincenzo Fiorensi (not to be confused with his similarly-named sister, Vincenza) was the leader of The Black Clover, a gang of artillerists, hitmen, smugglers, and assholes operating primarily in Velija.
Appearing first to the party as one of Baptiste's old nemeses, Vincenzo was a morally ambiguous grey spot on the party's radar, whose deadly potential was somewhat ignored until it was right in front of them. Vincenzo guided the party safely to Velija, only to accept a bribe from the city's watchwards which ended up getting him and friends killed, as well as the patron's of his gang's base of operations - The Shining Serpent.
Vincenzo had a known history with Varis Dosk, having helped him escape from The Asyrican Military. His sister, Vincenza, was also known to have had an intimate relationship with Varis. Her relationship with her brother, however, is suggested to be tenuous at best, as the party found inpatient registration papers in Vincenzo's cabin aboard his ship. It is likely that he voluntarily committed Vincenza to the Olympus Asylum in Kannis. To what end remains unclear.
And so the question remains as well - was Vincenzo the morally corrupt evildoer the Twilight Team believed him to be, or a government pawn, bribed to do the dirty work of his superiors? We may never find out. Dead men tell no tales, after all.
