Hyssra (H's-srah)

Work animal

There isn't much non-reptillian life on Task, and what there is, is normally put to work. Reptillians aren't opposed to doing work, but due to their biology, working in the same way as, for instance, primalia, isn't exactly ideal. So the hyssra are used as transport, and in farms. It gives the Trastask a break
— From a book on interspecies relationships
Hyssra are an animal species used in Trastask society. They are often used by farmers to tend to farms and have previously been used in war as battle hyssra. They can be ridden, and used to be a major form of transportation around the world.   The Trastask have taken hyssra off of their home planet, and hyssra can be found in most Trastask settlements, especially those in which there is a reliance of any sort on farming, which is common in Trastask society.
