Fool's Delight
The name of this plant acutely describe its behaviour. It has a wonderful flower with tantalizing tints of red, blue and violet. While it looks like a delicate thing, it is to better attract the imbecile that will try to smell it, or worse, eat it. With just a touch of the petals or a twist of the stem, the plant will emit an unbearable stench, able to make even the strongest monster faint.
Manipulating this ingredient has proven to be a challenge on multiple occasions, as even a jar or boiling water is enough to contain the scent. As it is, I am the only one in the whole of London with the know-how to safely prepare and harvest this plant, which rises significantly my prices.
The main preparations I offer are in the form of small bombs or exploding pots which are used as aggressive sleeping potions. The main downside is that the stench does not discriminate between friends or foes, and that combined with other ingredients it can become pretty volatile. Still, the demand is high so I keep on producing them. I wonder if the smell coming up from the sewers has anything to do with my work...
