Sakerh Character in The Age of Swords | World Anvil

Sakerh

Sakerh, the god who, like Achnon-Ankh, rises from the sea only to disappear again each night. Sakerh is the counterpart to Achnon Ankh and represents the moon and stars.   It is said that Sakerh, spawned from Uab-Atis and Ra-Avan to carry the moon and stars across the skies each night. When the elder god Sawari-Ra threathened to devour the young moon-god, Ra-Avan herself killed her child to send him to Shethu, for that which is dead may never die. From Shethu, Sakerh now watches over the blessed dead by day, only to rise from the seas at night to illuminate Artha.
