There are stiff competitors from the other gigacorps, but Nexus Cybernetics is the pinnacle of Cybernetics technology. They have the largest cybernetics market share by far, they make cybernetics for every income bracket, and they even finance if you're either confident in your income stream or aren't worried about Retrieval Surgeons.

A New You

Nexus Cybernetics also has a market share in more traditional medical technologies, genetic engineering, and some military contracting. One of their services that are most popular with a certain subset of people is the "brain in a jar" cybernetic; they replace the top of your skull with a steel case that offers a full recycling and life support system, allowing your brain to survive without a body for protracted amounts of time. This is partially for soldiers hoping for Clinical Reanimation, and partially so their brain can be transferred into new bodies entirely. Aristocrats and criminals alike find uses for this. Finally, this process is how Stomper pilots operate their vehicles; their bodies are preserved while their brains are plugged into the machine. When their missions are over, their bodies can be brought out of cold storage and reactivated by simply slotting the brain back onto the stem.

Not Religious... Per Se

Nexus Cybernetics has a close relationship with the NDEHM, but the relationship is as a supplier and consumer rather than a faithful one. The two entities are on good terms, but rarely collaborate on much more than lobbying, or so the official statements would have the public believe. Conspiracy theorists and thruthers flood SolarNet with accusatiosn that NC is actually just a front, a method for the New Disciples to normalize ever more grotesque and extreme cybernetics and body modifications.
