Celestial Securities is a security company. They rent out long term guard contracts, short term assignments for high threat periods, and they guarantee layers of protection. This means that wherever CS guards are stationed, there's a Quick Reaction Force ready to deploy where necessary. While only a few settlements hand over their policing entirely to CS, nearly all of them hire at least a few as police, consultants, or even just the QRF itself.

In addition to providing security services, CS also markets their equipment for use by law enforcement. Of course, they aren't terribly picky about who exactly buys their gear, so plenty of unsavory types who have use for LTL weapons and mid-market armor count themselves among CS's clinetele.

A Distant Number Two

CS wants to be a military contractor, and has made some progress with their lethal weapons lines. However, the defense giant Vanguard Dynamics isn't going to take this laying down, and the two firms have nearly boiled over into full scale corporate wars over contracts.
