Fækin

Fækin are a people inheriting the Noble blood of the elves. This lineage often grants them a higher than average propensity for the magicks. Once upon a time, elf and man walked the earth together but, once the human tribes were united under Lord King Eastaughffe the elves were driven deep into the wild unknowns of the land. It’s uncertain where they are now, but the elven bloodlines yet flow strong in Saxony.
Often times this elvish tint shows through physically as well as magickally. Depending on what type of elf the bloodline flows from, the appearance may change in subtle ways. Many fækin show their fae ancestry with more slender and delicate frames, others find their ears to bend somewhat in a shallow mimicry of that distinct elvish shape. The descendants of the drow are sometimes even noted to have greyer skin than your average person, regardless of how long they spend in the sun trying to improve their complexion.
Due to fears of the magicks of the Old Races, many of the peasantry and even the nobility fear fækin and their ancient blood. As such, many see fit to conceal the benefits of their ancestry, opting for common Sexton names, avoiding the magicks altogether, and even going so far as to relocate every few decades to hide their slowed aging. Some though opt to wear their ancestry with pride and even outwardly worship the Old Faith.
