Clans of Men
When men first emerged on the island continent of Saxony, they were looked down upon by the Old Races who already inhabited it. Some tried to enslave the men, others to study them, and others still to destroy them altogether. This led them into a life of constant movement, trying not to gather in large enough numbers or for long enough times to draw attention.
It was not until Lord King Eastaughffe united them under his rule that they became able to settle down permanently and form kingdoms of their own.
