Runi Pens: The Ink Refills Overnight

Ah, this entire world in general: filled with utterly bizarre and magical wildlife that can often be described as "Australia on steroids".

One species in Lamara is the Runi, a type of octopus that, on top of releasing ink, releases horrifically poisonous ink with which it can slaughter prey on mass and then feast upon it, being able to grow to incredible sizes as a result of this hunting strategy. They are known to shrink rather than starve to death in response to not eating in too long, and not eating in too long is usually due to them getting so big that they get stuck.

Anyway they're hunted and killed for their ink glands, often with a lot of casualties.

Luckily for humans, however, this ink is only poisonous due to a chemical reaction with sea water. Otherwise, it's just ink that never goes off or anything of the sort.

The ink sacks, when provided the nutrients and water, will continue to live and produce ink even when cut out of the octopus. The ink sacks are individually tiny but numerous. Because of this, pens containing Runi inksacks can be left overnight in soup (yes: soup) and continually used the next day pretty much perpetually, never actually running out of ink unless someone seriously spends several days straight writing... which has happened.
