Lord Ker'Soth Pellam

The ambitious head of the Noble Alliance, this minor Lord has aspirations that stretch far beyond Igros. A talented mage with great power at this finger tips, he also possesses a vast fortune attained through savvy investment strategy.

In the story...

Lord Ker'Soth Pellam was first met at his fortified estate in the Stormpass District. The Conspirators were invited and witnessed firsthand the wealth and might belonging to the Pellam family. A small army as well as careful construction indicated a tough, military mind behind the opulent splendor. The estate itself was built with reflective marble flooring and a confusing maze of look-a-like doors and hallways.
Pellam himself was revealed to be an ambitious man with eyes on the Throne, thinking that he himself could outperform the High King with a fairer, more just Deverenia shepherded by his nobility and intellect. There was little showsmaship, little arrogance as the Conspirators learned that this man was in fact a true believer in his "mission." It was clear that this Lord Pellam character would be akin to a zealot.
For now, though, a temporary alliance was offered. If the Conspirators could break the hold of the Church of the Storm on the Stormpass District, Lord Pellam would coordinate troops and information with the Conspirators as both eventually would need to take on the Chancellor. Both parties realized that each was using the other, for Pellam and his Noble Alliance needed highly skilled individuals to deal with the Chancellor's elite, but the Conspirators lacked the forces to make any real assault upon the Chancellor's holdings or the the Black Keep itself. Both also knew that each would cease to need the other eventually.

History

Details of Pellam's history are largely uncovered at this time. The only details available to the Conspirators is that the Pellam family was considered Minor Nobility, but the largest and most powerful of that set of Nobility. They had often pushed for Prince-hood, but lacked any Bloodline connection to the Vortigern legacy. The presence of Gyeran also led to the discovery that Ker'Soth Pellam was a graduate of the University Obscurum, training under the Dragonborne "Adventurer Mage" Jah-Hadir.
