Blessing of The Abyss
An exceedingly rare phenomenon occasionally takes place within The Abyss under very specific circumstances. Much like with the Curse of the Abyss/Strains of Ascent, the event occurs during the ascent.
The person that receives the Blessing of the Abyss has their appearance changed. They grow fur or feathers all over their body and some of their traits, like the eyes or fingers, become mutated. In other words they look much like a Hollow that has retained their humanoid shape. This leads to most people referring to someone that has received the blessing as a Blessed Hollow. They also gain the ability to observe the force field of The Abyss, something that only the predators of the deep are able to see, which is an incredibly useful ability for delving in The Abyss.
Most people that see a Blessed Hollow treat them like an outcast as people don't know much about them.
