Canyons

The canyons in Calaveras Field are a unique geological feature that surrounds the settlement. They are a result of erosion that has carved deep channels into the rocky terrain over millions of years. They are known for their towering cliffs, narrow gorges, and winding paths that make them a popular spot for adventure and exploration.   The canyons are made of a variety of rock formations, including sandstone, limestone, and shale. They vary in width and depth, with some canyons being only a few meters wide while others are wide enough to accommodate several people at the same time. The depth of the canyons can also vary, with some being shallow and others being deep enough to reach the base of the cliffs. The walls of the canyons are steep and rugged, and they are often covered with a variety of different plants and flowers.   The canyons offer a great deal of natural beauty and have many unique features like the natural bridges, waterfalls, and rock formations. They are also home to many different types of animals, including insects, birds, and small mammals. The canyons are also a popular spot for rock climbing, hiking, and exploring. It's not uncommon to find people exploring the canyons during their free time, as it provides a great outdoor experience.   The canyons also hold a strategic value for the crew of the 'Hard bargain', as they can provide cover and concealment when navigating through the settlement, as well as a potential location for valuable resources, or a hideout spot.
