Administration Center

The administrative center in Calaveras Field is the central hub of government operations and decision-making within the settlement. It's located in the center of the settlement, close to the central market and the spaceport, and it's a large, imposing building made of a combination of steel, concrete, and glass. The building is designed to reflect the power and prestige of the local authorities, making it easily recognizable from a distance.   The administrative center is the seat of the local government, and it's where the elected officials and government bureaucrats work, hold meetings and make important decisions. It's a multi-storey building with several departments, including finance, law, regulations, and public services. The center is also home to the local police and security force, which is responsible for maintaining law and order within the settlement.   The administrative center is also equipped with advanced security systems, including surveillance cameras, biometric scanners, and keycard access, to ensure the safety of the officials and the sensitive information within the building. It's also a place that is off-limits to most people, except for the government officials and authorized personnel.   For the crew of the 'Hard bargain', the administrative center might be a valuable location as it holds information that might be important for their mission, and also as a location where they might find valuable allies and resources. However, the crew should be careful when approaching the center, as the local authorities might be suspicious and uncooperative to outsiders.

The Hard Bargain crew arrived at the administration center, a grand domed building. As they entered, they were greeted by a group of officials who were running the center. Rege, the captain, approached the leader of the group and requested permission for long-term port services. The leader, a stern-looking man, asked for documentation and a fee in return for their permission. Rege, who was running low on credits, made a deal with the leader, offering to transport some cargo in exchange for the permission. The leader accepted the offer and the crew was able to secure long-term port services at Calaveras Field.
