Vedalken

The blue skinned and hairless people known as the Vedalken are one of the most alien species in Thaeria. Though they have adapted to the emotions of the other occupants of Thearia, and have learnt to at least emulate them to some degree, they do not naturally experience them.
Originally from Furnmer, the shattered moon ; the fourth moon of Erde, they were largely wiped out during the cataclysm known as 'The Shattering ', and subsequently destroyed Yandasa . Those few that did escape made it to Thaeria and have lived throughout the continent ever since.
They tend to stick within small communities with other Vedalken as their lack of empathy can make it hard to deal with other species socially, but for all other purposes they are well integrated.
Typically they reach adulthood at about the age of 25 and live for around 200 years.
