Goliath

Originally hailing from the frozen northern wastes of Verglas, the Goliath race has widely settled the northern lands of Ormsthrall and throughout Thaeria.
Their native name in the giant tongue is 'Körtorrostumaðr', however this literally translates to 'angry short warrior' and was often used by other giant races in a derogatory way to describe small violent rodents and the like. It is therefore unsurprising that they have happily adopted the name given to them when they arrived in Thaeria; which is that of a gigantic, mythical human hero from ages past.
Their life expectancies are typically similar to that of humans, reaching adulthood in their late teens and averaging around 70-100 years of life.

Basic Information

Biological Traits

Distantly related to giants and infused with the supernatural essence of their ancestors’ mountainous home, goliaths stand between 7 and 8 feet tall and have a wide array of skin tones resembling different types of stone. They have otherwise human like features but are normally completely hairless.
