Genasi

Genasi are actually 4 quite distinctly different races, descended from humanoids that migrated from the Elemental planes to the Material realms. They still carry with them personality traits common to their elemental ancestry but have been settled for so long now (at least since the 4th age) they are now no more familiar with the elemental planes than anyone else in Erde .
At some point in their lives most Genasi do feel a certain pull to the plane from which there ancestors originated, and might embark on a pilgrimage of sorts, but few who make it choose to remain there.
Their life expectancies can vary wildly, but generally fire genasi have the shortest life spans, and water have the longest. This has less to do with their elemental descendants as it is the many mortal species they can trace their ancestries back to. Water Genasi, for example, integrated immediately into Eundor society and interbred with them. Nowadays most water Genasi can trace their lineages back to the elves, those few who can't tend to live much shorter lives than those that do.

Biological Traits

Air Genasi Air genasi’s skin tones include many shades of blue, along with the full range of human skin tones, with bluish or ashen casts. Sometimes their skin is marked by lines that seem like cracks with bluish-white energy spilling out. An air genasi’s hair might blow in a phantom wind or be made entirely of clouds or vapor.
Earth Genasi An earth genasi’s skin can be the colors of stone and earth or a human skin tone with glittering sparkles like gem dust. Some earth genasi have lines marking their skin like cracks, either showing glimmering gemlike veins or a dim, yellowish glow. Earth genasi hair can appear carved of stone or crystal or resemble strands of spun metal.
Fire Genasi They show their heritage in their skin tones, which can range from deep charcoal to shades of red and orange. Some bear skin tones common to humanity but with fiery marks, such as slowly swirling lights under their skin that resemble embers or glowing red lines tracing over their bodies like cracks. Fire genasi hair can resemble threads of fire or sooty smoke. Fire Genasi tend to have the shortest lifespans, but are often more powerful.
Water Genasi Their skin is often shades of blue or green, sometimes a blend of the two. If they have a human skin tone, there is a glistening texture that catches the light, like water droplets or nearly invisible fish scales. Their hair can resemble seaweed, waving as if in a current, or it can even be like water itself.

Geographic Origin and Distribution

• Semi-common throughout Erde
• Air Genasi tend to live in settlements high up on plateus, hills and mountains. There is a particularly large population in Tokonashi
• Earth Genasi are often found living in caves and so tend to pick more rural settlements near suitable geographic landmarks
• Fire Genasi are most common in the Deserts of Tanjoroa and the cities of Anua
• Water Genasi normally live in coastal or lakes side towns and are almost as common as elves in Eundor societies.
