Dragaokin AKA Dragonborn

Known as dragaokin amongst their own kind, but dragon born to many others, they are a humanoid species with a proud draconic lineage. They come in many different colours which once linked them to their ancestral past. Within their native lands the blood of a particular type of dragon usually runs very strong throughout the clan. Over the ages those that have left the Grenmire often have much more mixed blood. Though one dragon will prevail, it is not as clear from their scales and skin, which are more likely to be mixed and mottled patterns, revealing the social mixing of their ancestors.

Biological Traits

Dragaokin look very much like dragons standing erect in humanoid form, though they lack wings, and usually a tail. The first dragonborn had scales of vibrant hues matching the colours of their dragon kin, but generations of interbreeding have created a more uniform appearance. They are tall and strongly built, often standing close to 6½ feet tall and weighing 300 pounds or more. Their hands and feet are strong, talonlike claws with three fingers and a thumb on each hand.
