Dagon - Master of the Aegeaon (Day-gon)
Dagon is depicted as both a large oceanic dragon and as a humanoid. In some faiths he is said to be the son of Aquas, but others say he is the Demiurge of the worlds oceans. He dwells in the great Aegeaon sea but also on occasion takes on his humanoid form, secretly mingling with societies of sapient creatures below and above the oceans surface, according to some tales going so far as to sire demi-god offspring with unsuspecting mortals.
Sailors often worship him but also speak of him in frightened and hushed tales, blaming him for shipwrecks and other tragedies at sea, whether directly, by controlling the creatures of the sea or even the very water itself to carry out his violent intent.
