She has the typical pointed ears and eyebrows of other Vulcans though her eyes are startlingly blue.
Identifying Characteristics
She has a huge tattoo of an Asian kirin that wraps around her upper body and descends down her right leg, that she got during her Vulcan Officer's training. The tattoo would've disqualified her if the instructors had found out.

Gender to Ketana is more of a fluid thing with hard boy/girl divisions being the exception, not the rule

Ketana could be described as a pansexual xenophile. She is probably oversexed.
Education
Ketana experienced her early education in the Denobulan Public Education System, graduating 3 years early at 14, and transfered immediately to the Vulcan Advanced Xenomedical School where she graduated with honours 4 years later. She then continued her education in Xenopsychology at the Vulcan Military Academy, graduating begrudgingly, almost against the will of the Tribunal, one for, one against and one who lectured her about the necessity of logic in Xenopsychology, and the dangers of lack of emotional control before finally decaring her knowledge adiquate and passing her. She then went on as an ensign in Starfleet, to do her Practical before finally receiving her posting aboard the USS Christa McAuliffe

She is currently a Starfleet Officer (Lieutenant) employed as Ship's Doctor on board the USS Christa McAuliffe

Aside from graduating 4 years early with honours from both Public School and Medical School, she is currently the youngest doctor in Starfleet

Mental Trauma
Ketana's early development was in the cold, uncaring Vulcan household of her parents on Denobula. Her parents died in a shuttle accident when she was 10. She was raised by a Denobulan friend of her father named Perix and his wives Neela and Tusin and his husband Roril.
