Construction beginning/end
As the war rages on, a select few of the gods toil away at the construction of the inner and material planes.
The plan has been finalized at last. We're calling it the Material Plane, named so for the elemental physicality of the plane. Leave it to Gond to take care of crafting efficiency. He's determined what elements we need to sustain the larvae and we've selected the best individuals to form them; Gond, the Craftsman, has provided the Earth himself; Lyir, the Vital, has brought his life-giving water; Lathander, the Radiant, has offered his fires of renewal; and Selune has given her breath for the air, in exchange for an everlasting view over the plane. Tymora was insistent the larvae should never lay eyes upon us, so Selune has agreed to hide from them during her watch. Comically this inspired the same idea in Lathander. Needless to say Tymora was a bit exasperated, fashioning herself as the new mother, but Lathander is confident no one will be able to see directly to his vantage, and there's not very much to be done once he's made his mind up. They've already gone to work gathering these elements together, but Oghma believes it will be centuries until its completion. Such raw elemental energies will be hard to bring under control, but I'm sure we will be able to harness their power. Silvanus's chaotic energy is certainly helpful for an act of raw creation, though I hope he and Gond don't have too many disagreements. Another unfortunate fact is that with Lyir off the battlefield we've had to ask Torm and Tyr to hold the field, and I'm glad they agreed. In other news, I don't know what it was about Arborea or the elves who kept them, but there has been much talk about the flourishing arts and culture our larvae are displaying amongst the elves. I hope they will prove to be a paragon for the others.
